By leveraging cloud solutions, we are able to reduce our carbon footprint, reduce costs, increase accessibility of data sources and create the infrastructure required for enhanced customer data integrations for train reporting, consist compositions, and in due course complete end-to-end visibility of customer orders. This ultimately benefits our customers by improving logistical processes.
We have considerably reduced our reliance on back office infrastructures as part of our ever-evolving digital transformation to provide agile access to data.
Remote Data Download (RDD) provides real time access to OTMR data, triggering alters to the fleet engineers for immediate action. Train Manager records are synchronised directly to their competence records, ensuring Operational Standards Managers are not required to visit the locomotive in the event of any incident.
All operations staff are issued with a ruggedised tablet, empowering them to access all relevant company information on the go. Using various applications, train crews can access safety critical documents, review their rosters and diagrams and keep up to date on their route and traction knowledge.
